Ayurvedic Medicine and Massage in City of London EC2
Ayurveda treatments work holistically to prevent illnesses and balance the mind, body and spirit.
Ayurveda is the “Science of Life”, a holistic system of preventive medicine and health care that was developed in India over 5000 years ago. This alternative and complementary medical system resulted from a combination of herbal medicine, philosophy, daily experiences and scientific observations.
There are several aspects to this art of healing that include therapeutic herbs, several types of wellness and curative treatments including massages, diet and nutrition, life-style counselling, healing music, vastu (like feng shui), meditation and yoga – the sister science of Ayurveda.
Treatments work with Ayurveda’s two fold principle of prevention and cure. Patients can benefit from a wide variety of physical, mental and emotional problems.
Diagnosis is done through direct observation (darsana) of tongue, colour of hair, eyes and nails and listening to the voice, touch (sparsana) of pulse, texture of skin and questioning (prasana) which can be verbal or a written questionnaire.
